Summer STEM Program
The Bronx Summer Program launched in 2017 with 7 students.
Students explore their personal and professional interests through real-life experiential STEAM interactions. In this program, students perform hands-on experiments, learn about leadership development, examine career pathways and participate in exciting fieldtrips in and around the 5 boroughs of NYC.
The program ends with the EDsnaps STEM-Artwalk showcase event.

Field Trips
Fieldtrips
Adaptive Design
After two years of virtual partnership, EDsnaps finally went on an in-person fieldtrip to Adaptive Design. The staff of Adaptive Design went above and beyond to teach our student all about electrical circuits. Our students built their celestial sign in LEDs. During our showcase event, a real light show was presented.
Trip Spotlight
American Airlines
For 3 years EDsnaps partners with American Airlines. This company covers every STEAM discipline at all educational levels.
During our fieldtrip(s) we visit Hangar 10, at JFK airport. The American Airlines team has an airplane parked in their hangar, which we explore on the out- and the inside. We learn about safety and security on the workfloor, meet with pilots, technicians, engineers, security officers, marketing employees. We get hands-on experience and are allowed to sit in the pilot seat. A holistic experience for everyone involved.
