Emily Barbe is a financial advisor at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She has been in the financial services industry since 2011 and joined her wealth management team in 2013. Her focus is on developing strategies and providing advice for individuals, their families and their businesses by understanding their short- and long-term financial objectives. Emily leverages the global resources of Merrill Lynch to assist clients in areas such as budgeting, retirement planning, lending, guidance on concentrated stock positions, traditional investments, and impact investing.

 

Emily holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, and she is a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Communications. She lives in Brooklyn, and in her free time you can find her traveling or training for the next NYC marathon. Emily serves on the Board of Directors to the YWCA Brooklyn, is a member of the New York Junior League, and serves as a committee member to Merrill Lynch’s Women’s Exchange, an employee networking group that focuses on career development for women.
